The key to disaster preparedness is PLANNING AHEAD. Older adults are more vulnerable to the effects of natural disasters. While age is a factor, complications associated with chronic conditions, frailty, memory changes, and limited mobility present unique challenges. Therefore, create an emergency plan WELL in advance.
